103rd Street Walmart Shooting Leads to Person Being Shot in Leg

A 103rd Street Walmart shooting took place in Jacksonville today. Anytime that a shooting happens in a public place, there is a chance for serious injuries or fatalities. These accidents have unfortunately been happening on a bigger level in America, taking the lives of many and spreading panic for those who go to public places frequently. A person who identified themselves as an employee told police after the Walmart shooting that a person was shot in the leg. The victim, fortunately, had non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Orange Park Medical for treatment.

    A 15-year-old girl died in a crash on the Gandy Bridge in Tampa on Thursday morning. The accident occurred at approximately 4:15 a.m. According to the Tampa Police Department, a 20-year-old man was driving a 2008 Infiniti Q35 when he ran out of gas on the bridge.   • Orange County, FL - Pedestrian Killed in Crash on Pine Hills Road

    The Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a deadly pedestrian crash in Orange County on Saturday night. The incident happened on Pine Hills Road near Grandview. According to troopers, a pedestrian was crossing the street when he was hit by a 2016 black Ford Fusion. The passengers in the vehicle fled the scene on foot following the crash while the driver sped off. Rescue crews arrived and pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene. The pedestrian's identity is not available at this time. Police are still searching for the Fusion driver in connection with the crash. Read more
