Last year in Florida, approximately 700 pedestrians were killed in crashes across our state. This number roughly translates to two fatal pedestrian accidents taking place on our roadways each day. The cause of each pedestrian crash must be carefully investigated. In many instances, drivers are held responsible because they could have taken actions that would have prevented the collision from occurring.
We offer our condolences to the victim's family following this tragic incident.
