Alfred Lebeau, Pedestrian, Walked Out on Road and Was Killed

A fatal hit-and-run accident took place on the San Carlos Boulevard involving a pedestrian and now the Florida Highway Patrol is investigating. According to an incident report, the vehicle that struck the man was driven by 26-year-old Angel Martinez.
At the time, Martinez was driving his 2003 Malibu. A pedestrian identified as 70-year-old Alfred Lebeau left the safety of the sidewalk and entered the path of the vehicle. The impact caused damage to the right front of the vehicle and broke the windshield.
Lebeau was pronounced dead at the scene.

Groveland, FL - One Killed in Three-Car Crash on State Road 50
A three-vehicle crash in Groveland led to the death of one person on Friday, March 1st. 33-year-old Irasema Gort Valdes was driving a dump truck eastbound on SR-50 when she collided with the rear-end of Buick driven by Derek Smart. Smart's Buick veered into the westbound lanes of the roadway and collided head-on with an SUV. The driver of the SUV, identified as a 62-year-old man from Groveland, was killed in the crash.
