Reports state that, at 2 a.m. this morning, a 30-year-old named Anthony Britt crashed his car into an electrical and water infrastructure and a house. He died immediately after the accident, which occurred on San Marco Road.
Crews arrived on the scene when they were called. For the time being, electrical and water services were interrupted. LCEC and Marco Island Utilities were still restoring them early this morning. The crash is still being investigated by the Marco Island Police and Florida Highway Patrol homicide team.

A fiery crash involving two vehicles on State Road A1A left four people dead in Port St. Lucie on Saturday, March 2nd. The Florida Highway Patrol was called to the 6500 Block of the roadway around 8:00 p.m. The four deceased victims were traveling in a Chevrolet Cruze. The Cruze collided with a Ford F-150 and both vehicles caught fire. Police believe that the Cruze driver was at fault for causing the accident but there were no specific details on how the crash took place. Police are still working to identify the four victims.
