Arcadia, FL (July 23, 2018) – A Florida man was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident that took place on Sunday. The accident happened after the suspect led deputies on a police chase.
The Florida Highway Patrol said that 21-year-old Justin Wagner was traveling south on Arcadia Avenue on his motorcycle last evening. He was fleeing from DeSoto County Sheriff’s deputies when he lost control. He was thrown off of the motorcycle.
The motorcycle collided with a stop sign, which caused Wagner to tumble across the street before he came to a final rest in somebody’s front yard. Wagner was then flown to the Sarasota Memorial Hospital and was treated for serious injuries.
The investigation is ongoing at this time.
Now, Wagner is facing charges of driving while his license was suspended, careless driving, and more.
