Approximately 700 pedestrians lose their lives each year in crashes that take place in our state. In addition, thousands more will suffer injuries ranging from non-life-threatening to major. A pedestrian is extremely vulnerable to serious injuries including broken bones and trauma to their head and neck. A Florida pedestrian accident can happen in a second and can have life-altering consequences for all involved.
Our deepest condolences go out to the family and loved ones of George Stuart Hopkins.
