Avon Park, FL (October 15, 2019) - A pickup truck and a school bus collided with one another in Avon Park on Tuesday, October 15th. The crash happened on East Cornell Street.
According to reports, the bus was carrying 20 students from Avon Park High School when the crash took place. One student from the bus was taken to the hospital with a leg injury that does not appear to be life-threatening. Several other students suffered cuts and scrapes but refused to be transported to a hospital. Two occupants of the truck were taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
