Florida experiences about 700 pedestrian deaths in crashes that take place across our state each year. Pedestrian crashes in our state are a very serious event and often they result in long-lasting injuries and, in the worst cases, fatalities. Drivers who are inattentive or otherwise negligent are a major cause of these fatal incidents in Florida.
