Bass Road Accident in Kissimmee Takes Life of One Victim

In the event of an accident that takes a life, many families wonder where to turn. We are there for you. Yesterday, a Bass Road accident in Kissimmee left one person dead and others injured in the hospital. The accident happened around 6:20 p.m. close to Highway 192.

Bass Road was closed down as officials investigated the crash. Those who were injured were taken to nearby hospitals.

The victim’s name has not yet been released.

  • Columbia County, FL - One Killed. One Hurt in Car Accident on I-10

    One person was killed and another was seriously injured in a car accident that took place in Columbia County on Tuesday morning. The crash happened on an entrance ramp to Interstate 10. According to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol, the man and woman were occupants of a Ford pickup truck. The driver of the Ford lost control on the entrance ramp and the truck collided with a semi-trailer that was also on the ramp. A 53-year-old man from Okeechobee died at the scene while a 47-year-old woman from Labelle was airlifted to a hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the semi was not hurt.   • West Park, FL - Victims Identified in Hallandale Beach Boulevard Crash

    The two victims of a motorcycle crash in West Park have now been identified by authorities. The crash originally took place around 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 1st. Police say that 35-year-old Oscar Boatright of Belle Glade was riding a 2015 Harley Davidson eastbound on Hallandale Beach Boulevard when he attempted to make a U-turn at 40th Avenue. As Boatright made the turn, he was T-boned by a second motorcycle driven by 32-year-old Michael McKenzie of Plantation, FL. Both riders were wearing helmets but were pronounced dead at the crash scene. A third motorcycle was hit by debris. That rider, Leroy Carrigan, was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Read more
