Bay County, FL (June 25, 2018) – Serious injuries occurred in a Bay County accident when a speedboat fell off of a trailer. One driver sustained serious injuries and was taken to the hospital.
The Florida Highway Patrol responded to the accident. They said that a 73-year-old woman was headed south on Frankford Avenue. A 71-year-old man was driving a Ford-250 at the same time, which was pulling a 32-foot speedboat on a trailer behind it. He was heading west on State Road 390.
The woman collided with the right side of the trailer that the truck was pulling. This resulted in the speedboat falling off the back of the trailer. The boat fell off the trailer and onto the road, with the front of the boat on top of the truck.
The woman reportedly sustained serious injuries after the crash yesterday. She was taken to the hospital.
