Boynton, FL (June 24, 2018) – A Boynton three-car crash sent eight people to the hospital, including one child. The accident took place on Hypoluxo Road.
The three-car crash, which was a pileup that happened across from Freedom Shores Elementary School, sent a child to a trauma center. Seven others were taken to the hospital with various injuries. The Boynton Police responded.
The child was taken to the Delray Medical Center. The seven others were taken to the JFK Medical Center, according to police.
The accident happened just after 1 p.m. The incident resulted in a shutdown of all westbound lanes. Police said that the lanes have since been reopened, but they have not issued other information about the crash or how the pileup occurred. A spokeswoman for the Boynton Police said that the accident is still being investigated and they are currently speaking with witnesses.
