Bradenton, FL - At Least One Person Hurt in Crash on State Road 70

Bradenton, FL (January 23, 2019) - A crash involving at least two vehicles on State Road 70 resulted in injuries on Tuesday, January 22nd.  

The Florida Highway Patrol responded to the intersection of State Road 70 and Wauchula Road around 6:30 pm in reference to the crash.  The accident involved a silver SUV and a green sedan.  The SUV sustained front end damage. Authorities classified the accident as "major" and at least one person was seen on a stretcher leaving the accident site.  There is no information on how the collision occurred. 

Police have not released any further details.
