In Manatee, a rollover crash took place that shut down the roadway for many hours while emergency responders attempted to clear the scene.
The South Bradenton rollover crash took place yesterday afternoon around 1:30 p.m. and included injuries to multiple parties. The accident took place at the intersection of 26th Street W and 57th Avenue W. Emergency officials cleared the scene and closed the roadway down in that area for some time. The right northbound lane was shut down just north of the intersection until 3:00 p.m., which was the latest closing.
The names of those injured have not yet been released.
The Florida Highway Patrol had a chance to speak with a witness, who reported that she saw a vehicle roll over “multiple times.” At this time, the extent of the injuries is being examined.
