Florida reported approximately 3,000 fatalities due to traffic crashes last year. This number involved those involved in crashes with other vehicles, as well as other types of crashes, such as train crashes. While accidents involving vehicles and trains certainly do not occur as often, they are often more deadly than a crash between cars. The speed, power, and force of a collision with a train frequently lead to serious injuries and death for the victim.
