A family from the UK lost their lives in a Titusville accident, as we reported yesterday. The family was vacationing and was just returning from the Kennedy Space Center when all 4 of them were killed in a deadly crash. All 4 members died at the scene of the crash due to the severity of the accident.
Titusville investigators are still trying to figure out what happened leading up the accident that took the lives of Maryanne, Adam, Sherry, and Bryan Stephenson when the pick-up truck smashed into their vehicle as they were making a U-turn.
Their SatNav in the vehicle at the time showed that they were on their way back to their rental property and had been re-routed due to an earlier crash. The GPS indicated for them to make a U-turn in the accident that took their lives. Unfortunately, making the U-turn was a dangerous decision and violated the right-of-way that the pickup truck driver had at the time.
On social media, people continue to pay tribute to the family. Bryan and Sherry’s other son was on holiday with the family at the time but had not gone to the Space Center, so he was not involved in the accident that took their lives. One of Bryan’s brothers, however, has flown to the states so that he could be by his brother’s side.
