In Jacksonville Florida, a Buckman Bridge multi-vehicle accident happened early in the morning yesterday. Southbound lanes were temporarily closed down while responders worked at the scene. Several news websites were reporting it as a ‘major accident’ with 8 vehicles involved.
The Jax Sheriff’s Office Twitter reported that people received injuries as a result.

Two Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputies were hurt in a crash involving three cars on Friday, June 28th. The crash happened on US-301, near Ayersworth Glen Boulevard around 1:30 p.m. According to initial reports, a Kia Sportage was traveling southbound on US-301 when it stopped in the roadway for unknown reasons. A Honda CRV traveling behind the Kia attempted to swerve to avoid a collision but instead struck the back of the vehicle. The Kia was then forced across the yellow line and into a Ford Taurus traveling northbound. The Taurus was occupied by a detective and deputy with the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office. Read more
