Accidents that happen involving vehicles usually tend to be those that occur when somebody is turning at an inappropriate time, speeding, rear-ending somebody’s vehicle, and more. Sometimes, a drive-by accident occurs by a shooter who intended to cause another person harm. What can you do in these cases?
19-year-old Christard Hicks was killed by a shooter and instantly lost his life. Hicks died when a man fired a .223-caliber rifle from a car into a crowd of young people. The man accused was 19-year-old Jamal Riggins. He was charged with murder and attempted murder of five others. He claimed that “Christard was never the target.”
Riggins had been arrested in the past and spent time in prison, and claimed that the group of kids had talked badly about him. After Hicks was shot, he was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead soon after.
