Christopher Ryan, a pedestrian, was fatally struck in an accident in Pasco County. The incident occurred when a 27 and 24-year-old were headed north in their Buick and neared Ryan of Port Richey. He was walking along the roadway at the time. The Buick hit him head-on.
Ryan was then thrown onto the shoulder of the road. EMS came to the scene and pronounced him dead.
The Buick driver did not see Ryan and by the time that they made an impact, it was too late. Alcohol was not a factor. The crash is still being investigated.
