Clay County, FL (October 8, 2019) - A 36-year-old man was killed in a crash on Monday along State Road 16 in Clay County. The crash happened near Sunset Avenue
According to reports from the Florida Highway Patrol, a Jeep Wrangler was traveling westbound on SR 16 when it veered into the eastbound travel lane. The Jeep collided with a Mazda Protege driven by Joshua Broadway of Palatka, FL. Broadway was rushed to Orange Park Medical Center where he later died from his injuries. The driver of the Jeep was not identified.
Police are still investigating the cause of the accident and charges are pending at this time.
