Clearwater, FL (May 24, 2020) - Police responded to the scene of a serious two-vehicle accident in Clearwater on Sunday. The crash took place around 3:00 p.m. on Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard near the intersection with S Hercules Avenue.
According to reports, the accident involved a van and a sedan. The van had serious front-end damage while the sedan suffered heavy damage to the driver's side door. There is no word on what caused the accident to take place. One person was rushed to a hospital with unspecified injuries. It is not clear whether the injured victim was in the sedan or the van. Police have not said whether anyone else was hurt.
The crash caused officers to close the westbound lanes of Gulf-to-Bay while an investigation was ongoing. No additional details are available at this time.

A crash on the Fuller Warren Bridge in Jacksonville left six people injured on Wednesday, July 31st. The crash happened around 9:00 p.m. in the northbound lanes of the bridge. The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department responded to the scene, along with the Florida Highway Patrol. Rescue workers reported that six people sustained injuries. At least one of the injured victims suffered serious injuries. The cause of the crash has not been released at this time and there is no update on the condition of the injured victims. Read more
