Collier County, FL (November 13, 2019) - A deadly crash was reported in Collier County on Wednesday, November 13th. The crash happened around 12:59 a.m. in the westbound lanes of State Road 82 near State Road 29.
The Florida Highway Patrol arrived on the scene to investigate the crash. According to troopers, a Jeep Wrangler was traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes when it crashed head-on with a Jaguar that was traveling westbound. Both vehicles caught fire after the collision. A total of three people were killed. Two of the victims were in the Jaguar while one was in the Jeep. None of the deceased have been identified at this time.
Troopers are still investigating the cause of this crash. No further information is available.
