Around 1:30 a.m. this morning, a 23-year-old man was shot and lost his life at a downtown Orlando luxury apartment complex. The accident took the life of Darian Elwin, who suffered from serious gunshot wounds in an upstairs apartment.
Officers arrived at the scene and attempted to help the man, but he died at the hospital. Witnesses said that they do not believe that the shooting was a random act. They believe that the gunman and Elwin knew one another.
The investigation into the suspect continues.
