Davie, FL (March 22, 2019) - A multi-vehicle crash sent two people to the hospital with serious injuries on Friday, March 22nd. The Davie Police, Florida Highway Patrol, and Sunrise Fire Rescue all responded to the scene along Interstate 595, near State Road 84, after 12:00 p.m. Friday.
At least two people sustained injuries in the crash and were taken to Broward Health Medical Center. The injuries were believed to be serious but there is no update on the condition of the injured victims. In addition, six others involved in the accident were evaluated on-scene. Multiple lanes of I-595 were blocked after the collision. Officials have not released information on the cause of the accident.
