A car crashed into the canal at a deadly Cape Coral intersection that has been known to cause accidents for many years in Florida. The incident took place this morning at the intersection of Surfside Boulevard and Beach Parkway.
Crews worked to pull the vehicle out of the canal, according to witnesses. One person was rushed to the hospital. Six years ago, another serious accident occurred in the same area, but still, no guardrails have been added to the area.
