One pedestrian was killed and another person was injured in a Desoto County pedestrian accident that happened in Arcadia. The accident happened just before 8:30 a.m. on April 22.
At the time, a car was traveling north on SE Hillsborough Avenue when it hit two people. The one was on a bicycle and was airlifted to Lee Memorial Hospital. The other person was walking and died at Desoto Memorial Hospital.
