Pedestrian crashes claim the lives of two people per day in Florida, or more than 700 per year. These statistics underscore the many dangers faced by pedestrians on a daily basis. When a driver is negligent in causing a collision with a pedestrian the driver is responsible for personal injuries sustained in the crash.
Unfortunately, this accident resulted in a death. If a pedestrian is killed at the hands of a negligent driver, then the pedestrian's family has the right to bring a wrongful death claim against the driver.
