In Okeechobee County, one man lost his life and another was critically injured when an accident occurred in Florida. The accident took place around 1:00 a.m. on Sunday when 43-year-old Jerome Storie was driving his Chevrolet Silverado in the wrong direction. Suddenly, his vehicle crashed head-on into a Chrysler driven by 22-year-old Diego Vega.
Storie was taken to the Lawnwood Regional Medical Center and was listed in critical condition. Vega was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
At this time, the accident is still being investigated.

Authorities in Cocoa responded to the scene of a fatal crash involving a motorcycle on Tuesday, September 21st. The accident took place around 1:15 p.m. on Clearlake Drive ear Lake Drive and Belleview Road. The collision occurred in the northbound lanes and resulted in the death of a motorcyclist. The Cocoa Police was among the first agencies at the scene. Officers shut down the northbound lanes in order to conduct an investigation. Traffic was routed around the accident scene and motorists were asked to avoid the area if possible. There is no information on what caused the accident to occur or the number of vehicles involved.
