60-year-old Donald Troxel was riding his motorcycle yesterday afternoon in Lake County during a Leesburg Bikefest when he was killed. At the time, he was riding on his 2014 Harley and collided with a 2012 Hyundai driven by 58-year-old Torri Salvidar.
At this time, the Florida Highway Patrol is not sure who had a green light and was okay to go. Troxel was immediately taken to Leesburg Regional Medical Center with injuries and later passed away. His wife, Judith, received minor injuries in the accident. Neither were wearing helmets at the time.
Salvidar also suffered serious injuries and was taken to the hospital.
