30-year-old Angel Lawson and her young child were injured in a serious Okaloosa County accident after a crash took place. At the time, Lawson was driving with the little girl on Highway 98 in the outside lane. Another car was stopped at a red light.
Lawson rear-ended the car, which sent it off the roadway and into a ditch. It then crashed into a culvert and landed back on the road. The little girl was not wearing a seatbelt at the time. The other driver involved in the accident was not injured.
Lawson and the young child were airlifted in the accident.
