In recent news, a man has been charged in an accident where he killed a father and son in a vehicle crash and then proceeded to steal a victim’s car. This all took place on a Miami highway.
This week, Earl Lewis was booked over a month since the accident that took the lives of 57-year-old Jose Eduardo Cepeda Luna and 34-year-old son, Cesar Eduardo Cepeda. Cepeda called his father for help after he had crashed into a guardrail, who arrived shortly after on February 9. However, while he was helping, Earl Lewis ran into both the men with his Camaro and stole Luna’s SUV. Officers followed up on Luna’s SUV, which was found abandoned and containing Lewis’ DNA. He was arrested in 2009 for attempted murder, but the charges were dropped.
Now he faces serious charges related to the incident.
