Earlier in the day, an accident was reported on the Edison Bridge in Lee County. The Lee County Sheriff’s office responded.
It was discovered that the bridge was temporarily closed due to a fatal Edison Bridge accident that left one person dead. Unfortunately, at this time no names have been confirmed. Drivers were told to drive cautiously in that area while debris cleanup was ongoing.
