Yesterday we posted about an accident that happened on Friday killing a driver named Randi Jo Clair in Hempfield. Clair was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident from blunt force trauma to the head and neck from not wearing a seatbelt. When she drove off the road and over-corrected, she drove into another lane of traffic, where she hit a Toyota Rav 4.
We now have information on those who were injured in the accident. The operator of the Toyota, 78-year-old Edward Klimek, and his passenger, 76-year-old Judith Klimek, were both injured and faced non-life-threatening injuries. At the time, both of them were wearing seatbelts. They were transported to Forbes Hospital for treatment.
