Last morning, 71-year-old Ephriam Stockman died in a Marion County accident. At the time, 65-year-old Leon Davis was driving a pickup truck around 10:30 a.m. eastbound while Ephraim was driving eastbound.
Davis failed to stop for the red light at an intersection. Its front left struck the rear of the motorcycle, which caused him to overturn. Stockman was then ejected. He was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead while there.

One person was taken to the hospital following a hit-and-run crash in Manatee County on Saturday, November 30th. The crash occurred in the northbound lanes of US 41 near 60th Avenue. Police say that a northbound vehicle collided with the rear-end of a Honda Fit. The driver of the vehicle then fled the crash scene before police could arrive. The vehicle was later determined by investigators to be a 2016 Nissan Sentra. The driver of the Fit, 76-year-old John Walo, was taken to Blake Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Read more
