A vehicle accident sent one person to the hospital early this morning in Escambia County. At this time, the woman’s name has not yet been released.
Serious injuries resulted when the driver struck a culvert and her vehicle overturned. This happened around 4:50 a.m. in the morning on West Roberts Road near Stallion Road. She was immediately pulled from the vehicle and taken to an area hospital by ambulance.
The Florida Highway Patrol is still investigating.
