Fatal Parrish Crash Claims One Life, Two on Trauma Alert

A fatal Parrish crash claimed the life of one person and left two on Trauma Alert on Thursday. The accident took place at the intersection of Moccasin Wallow Road and Eagle Point Way.

Children were involved in and injured in the crash, but at this point, we are unsure of the status of their conditions. Traffic was impacted at the time.

    A pedestrian is dead after being struck by a vehicle on Union Avenue in Crescent City. The accident took place just after 7:00 pm on Thursday, January 3rd. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the unnamed pedestrian was walking in the roadway when they were struck by a Ford Mustang. The pedestrian was thrown from the road onto a grass shoulder due to the impact of the collision. The driver of the Mustang stopped to call 911. Rescue workers arrived and rushed the pedestrian to Putnam Medical Center but they were later pronounced dead. The Mustang driver was not injured in the crash. Read more
