Authorities identified a man who died after being hit by a car in Belle Glade. He has been identified as 49-year-old Filadelfo Gregorio Gomez. When he tried to cross the road on South Main Street, he was struck by a Chevy Silverado.
He was taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach and later succumbed to his injuries. The driver who hit him was identified as 30-year-old Nan Nourn. They were both of the Belle Glade areas.
The driver was not using alcohol or drugs at the time of the crash. We do not yet have information if charges are pending or not.

A 30-year-old man from Port St. Lucie died after being involved in a crash with another vehicle on US 1. The crash took place on Monday, October 14th around 7:20 p.m. According to reports, Logan Daily was driving a 2000 Honda Civic that collided with a 2017 Toyota Camry, driven by 88-year-old Robert Davis. Police say that Davis was attempting to turn left onto Brazilian Circle from US 1 when he struck the side of Daily's car. Following the crash, Daily was taken to Lawnwood Regional Medical Center & Heart Institute, where he was pronounced dead. Davis suffered serious injuries in the crash. Read more
