Fort Myers, FL (April 27, 2021) - A 92-year-old woman from Lehigh Acres sustained serious injuries following a crash in Fort Myers on Sunday. The accident took place around 4:00 a.m. on Daniels Parkway near Six Mile Cypress Parkway.
The Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene of the accident. According to troopers, the woman was a passenger in a van when a 44-year-old driver from Lehigh Acres collided with the back of the van. The woman was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of her injuries. There is no update on her condition and her identity has not been released at this time. No one else was injured as a result of the crash.
Troopers are still investigating the collision at this time and there is no additional information available.
