Florida reports, on average, about 250,000 injury accidents each year. While injury crashes involve all types of vehicles, moped and motorcycle riders are especially vulnerable to being involved in a serious crash. These vehicles are not built to withstand the major impacts of a crash and a collision with a larger vehicle can be devastating. Police will continue to investigate the cause of this collision.
