A car accident takes place approximately every 92 seconds in Florida. Rear-end collisions are extremely common compared to other types of accidents. The great majority of rear-end collisions occur due to driver distraction. In this case, it is not exactly clear why the car slammed into the back of the patrol vehicle pending further investigation.
