Gadsden County, FL (June 24, 2018) – A semi-truck rollover accident took place in Gadsden County on I-10 led to injuries. The accident took place when the driver inside another vehicle deliberately braked too hard in front of the vehicle, causing it to lose control.
The accident took place around 4:30 a.m. this morning around mile marker 176. A semi-truck was pulling a trailer and traveling eastbound in the outside lane of I-10.
An unknown vehicle suddenly pulled in front of the semi-truck and then ‘brake checked’ him, causing him to lose control. The driver of the semi-truck could do very little from losing control. He tried to swerve around the vehicle but ran off the roadway.
The truck then overturned on its side when the truck wasn’t able to regain control during the situation. The driver of the semi-truck received only minor injuries.
With over 400,000 car accidents happening every year in Florida, it is only sensible to assume that some of these will involve semi-trucks. Commercial trucks are involved in about 120 crashes per day. Many of these people will receive serious injuries.
