Gainesville, FL (March 31, 2020) - An injury accident was reported in Gainesville on Tuesday, March 31st. The crash took place around 7:30 p.m.
Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene on SW 75th Street near the intersection with SW 8th Street. When police and rescue officials arrived, they located at least one person suffering from injuries as a result of the accident. The events leading up to the crash were not immediately released. A roadblock was established at the scene as troopers worked to clear away the wreckage and investigate the accident. No word was given on the condition of the injured victim.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time.
