A 28-year-old man named Joshua Edward Turner was arrested on several felony and misdemeanor charges after a hit-and-run accident that ended with injuries. At the time, he had a passenger in his vehicle identified as 27-year-old Andrea Fedore.
The incident happened when 24-year-old Harlie Coppernoll was driving her Dodge Ram northbound with a passenger inside, 38-year-old Chris Cornelius. Turner was driving a stolen Ford Explorer at the time and did not stop at a stop sign. This caused the two vehicles to collide.
Turner got out of the vehicle and fled the scene on foot. Multiple teams set out to find the suspect, who they believed could have been armed at the time. Turner was eventually found and turned in without incident. Turner denied that he was involved in the crash, but they found the key to the stolen vehicle in his pocket.
Coppernoll and Cornelius suffered minor injuries. There was also a 3-year-old passenger in the Dodge Ram at the time, who was also transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
Turner now remains in jail.
