In any given year, there are approximately 250,000 injury accidents reported in Florida. Car accidents can sometimes present complex questions related to their cause. Initially, officers will attempt to rule out driver-related issues such as drug or alcohol impairment, distraction, and drowsiness. Other times, the crash results from a violation of traffic laws such as failure to yield or failing to keep a proper lookout. Any innocent victims who are injured due to the negligence of another driver may bring a claim for personal injury against the responsible driver.
