Hernando County, FL (July 5, 2021) - A 26-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a crash that took place in Hernando County early Monday morning. The crash happened around 12:30 a.m. on Ridge Manor Boulevard near Knollwood Drive.
According to police, the motorcyclist was riding eastbound on Ridge Manor when he collided with a pickup truck driven by a 28-year-old man from Dade City. The motorcyclist, who was not identified, died at the accident scene. The pickup driver, who was also not identified, suffered minor injuries in the collision. There is no word on whether any charges are expected to be filed in connection with the crash. The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the collision.
