The risk of being involved in an aviation accident is typically lower than the risk of a car or pedestrian accident. Flying is generally considered to be a safe method of travel. However, aviation accidents can and do occur in Florida. When such an accident occurs, the accident is typically catastrophic and even fatal.
When an aviation accident takes place, authorities must consider all factors, including pilot error, weather conditions, and potential aircraft malfunction among other things. The ultimate conclusion will determine whether those injured in the crash may recover for personal injuries sustained.
