Hillsborough County, FL (July 5, 2018) – A dump truck driver was seriously injured in an accident when his dump truck overturned. The accident took place on Tuesday in Hillsborough County.
The dump truck driver was identified as 47-year-old Everett Hudson of Tampa, who was taken to Tampa General Hospital with serious injuries. He was seriously injured when his dump truck overturned due to the accident.
The crash took place around 2:55 p.m. at an intersection of South 50th Street and Madison Avenue in Hillsborough.
At the time of the accident, troopers determined that Hudson was driving his dump truck south on 50th Street in the right turning lane. He started turning east onto Madison and lost control of his truck, which caused it to turn onto its right side. It then spilled a load of dirt onto the highway.
