Hillsborough County, FL (June 28, 2019) - A car crashed into a Hillsborough County business, leaving five people injured on Wednesday, June 26th.
The crash happened at the Watch Doctor store in Tampa. According to Marco Ramirez, an employee of the business, the car crashed through the front wall. Ramirez heard a loud sound and witnessed a person flying backward through the air. A total of five people inside the business were hurt as a result of the incident. Fortunately, their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. The victims have not been identified at this time.
Police believe that the crash may have been caused when the driver hit the gas instead of the brake. An investigation remains ongoing at this time.

One person was killed and two others were injured following a car accident in Boynton Beach over the weekend. The crash happened on Saturday, September 25th around 3:30 p.m. Police responded to the scene on S. Military Trail just after the collision occurred. According to a report, a driver was traveling northbound in a BMW on Military Trail when, for unknown reasons, the car crossed the centerline of the roadway. The BMW crossed over the median and collided head-on with Toyota Tundra. Th Tundra driver, 52-year-old Paul Richards, and his 49-year-old passenger Melissa Richards, were seriously hurt in the crash. A back seat passenger, 20-year-old Carly Richards, died at the accident scene. The BMW driver suffered minor injuries. Read more
