Hillsborough County, FL (June 19, 2019) - A car and a motorcycle were involved in a wrong-way crash on I-75 in today. The crash took place in the northbound lanes, near the junction with I-275.
Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol responded to the crash scene. According to reports, a Lincoln Town Car was traveling the wrong way in the northbound lanes following a U-turn from the I-275 entrance ramp. The Lincoln then collided head-on with a motorcycle. Our condolences go out to all affected by this terrible crash on I-75. At this time, we do not have all of the details regarding why the Lincoln was traveling the wrong way. We will have to await further investigation to determine the cause of this crash. It seems very likely, however, that police will find the Lincoln driver at fault for causing the collision.
