Officers are still on the lookout for a hit-and-run driver who was involved in a West Fairfield Drive and Hollywood Avenue rear-end accident and fled the scene. The accident happened yesterday when the driver rear-ended a Nissan Altima and then turned at an intersection, going down a road and away from the accident. The victim was a 32-year-old Pensacola woman and her 14-year-old son, who reported the accident.
The driver is now facing charges of careless driving and leaving the scene of an accident. He was described as a black male with dreadlocks who was in a burgundy Chevrolet TrailBlazer at the time.
