Impaired driving is a form of negligent and reckless behavior that causes catastrophic damage to many innocent victims and their families. In 2016, Florida saw over 5,000 car accidents related to driving under the influence. Over 400 of those crashes involved fatal injury. Unfortunately, this is yet another example of the problems caused by alcohol and drug-related impaired driving.
